About me: I love to cook, but my husband is pretty picky so I'm always looking for new ideas with the "meat and potatoes" type stuff. Our dog loves to try EVERYTHING though!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed on Oct. 1, 2008 by toinfinity
Very Good Recipe, although made a few changes. Instead of cooking rice in a saucepan, I used my rice cooker to cook it and Voila, perfectly cooked rice. When adding the milk, sugar and rice I used 1 3/4 cup of milk instead. I took the advice of others and whisked the egg and milk together and adding a bit of the hot rice, then slowly added into the rest of the rice. I tasted a little bit, it was a little bland so I added about 1/3 cup more sugar and about 1/4tsp of cinnamon and cooked a bit longer. Tastes delicious now!

Rosemary Carrots

Reviewed on Sep. 28, 2008 by Flea
This recipe is easy and turns out wonderfully. Don't overcook the carrots! I use organic carrots (if they aren't from my garden) to ensure a nice flavour. I served the dish with roast beef. My guests loved the taste so much that they asked for the recipe.
