About me:
I am married with four kids. I am a pretty good baker but main dishes are my passion. My favorite is Mexican food and the hotter the better - I do not like wimpy food. Although I am considered a great cook by my family, I would never consider myself an expert. If I'm still learning and asking lots of questions (which I always am), then I'm far from an expert!

Raisin' the Dead Snack Mix

This is good and perfect for someone with a raging sweet tooth - like me! What a treat! It really does make a TON though. It fed my Bunko group with plenty left over, so plan accordingly if you don't have a big crowd.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

This is very, very good! I marinated mine for about 2 hours and wish I had made some extra sauce for dipping. It would have made it even better (I was out of dijon!). Simple and delicious!

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed on Oct. 9, 2008 by BroncosFan
These are really good. My kids just loved them. It will be fun to experiment with different add-ins - the possibilities are endless. Although I did not have wheat germ, they were great without it. My only problem was that I cut them when they were still warm, but I let them cool in the pan......big mistake. Even with a well greased pan, it was a chore to get them out. So, take them out of the pan before they cool! Other than that, it's a very good recipe.
